Sandy Sandbox

We wonder confused, in pain abused

Walking barefoot or with a single shoe

My mother is dead, father is too

My present is a gift of sorts

I suppose or so I’ve been told

Agony in death

We mourn the loosing

The dying are petrified

But I long to see what’s behind the veil

I pray it’s heaven and not a piece of hell
